About Uphill Rush 8

Developer: Azerion Casual Games

Uphill Rush 8 is an arcade water park racer in the Uphill Rush series, where you ride down twisting slides on a board or float and try to reach the end of each course without wiping out. Ramps, drops and loops make speed and landing control the main skill.

The Uphill Rush series began as a mobile hit published by Spil Games, which is now part of Azerion, and the series is built around waterslide racing with stunts, flips and obstacles. The mobile edition lists a level mode and an endless mode, hidden collectibles, power-ups and a choice of rides such as bathtubs, sharks and jet skis. The in-game menus show which of those extras this browser edition includes.

How to play Uphill Rush 8

Each run is a race against the slide itself. Speed builds on the descents and is lost when you crash, so the aim is to stay on track while chaining jumps cleanly.

  • Start a run and let the slide carry your rider; the on-screen prompts at the start show the exact controls for your device.
  • Use ramps and gaps to leave the surface, and rotate your rider in the air to set up the landing.
  • Finish each course by reaching the end of the slide, then move on to the next, harder layout.

Tips for Uphill Rush 8

  • Look ahead to the next obstacle instead of watching your rider; loops and corkscrews punish late reactions.
  • Land flat on the slide surface. Landing on a corner is the most common way to wipe out.
  • Flips look rewarding, but only attempt them when there is enough air time to finish the rotation.
  • If a pickup sits inside a tight cluster of hazards, skipping it usually costs less than crashing.
  • Replay a failed section to memorise the rhythm of its jumps; the layout does not change between attempts.

The Uphill Rush series was created by Spil Games; this edition is credited to Azerion Casual Games.
