Snow Rider 3D

Snow Rider 3D is a 3D sledding game where you race down a snowy mountain for as long as you can survive. Hitting an obstacle ends your run, so the whole game is about steering cleanly.

The game was created by Ashima Prabhakar and first released on the web on December 8, 2020. You weave between snowmen, rocks and trees, collect gifts and land jumps for extra points. Score depends on the distance you travel, the gifts you collect and the jumps you land. Gifts help unlock new sleds, so a good run gets you closer to a new look. Achievements and high scores give you something to chase, and the publisher also keeps a separate Nostalgia edition of the original 2020 build.

How to play Snow Rider 3D

The sled runs downhill without braking, and you steer it left and right.

• Use the arrow keys or A and D to steer the sled.
• Line up ramps to launch jumps.
• Collect gifts when the line is safe.
• Keep going until you crash, then try again for a better score.

• Stay near the middle of the slope so you have room to dodge on both sides.
• Use small steering movements instead of sudden turns.
