Dynamons 8

Dynamons 8 is a monster-collecting role-playing game in which you travel, fight and capture creatures to become a Dynamon Captain. Battles are turn-based, one creature against one, and you build a team by recruiting what you defeat.

It is the eighth entry in the Dynamons series from Azerion Casual Games, and its new content is two areas: a Chinese Festival world and a bonus cave. A guide character named Jovani teaches you the basics, and the roster includes creatures such as Robocanyx, Jaxaguar, Sauryx, Dagaryx and Tydonyx. In combat you pick action cards for special attacks and power-ups, and a creature you have weakened can be caught. Shards level up your team and unlock new cards.

How to play Dynamons 8

The game runs on a mouse or touch screen. You explore the map, trigger encounters, and choose actions from menus during fights.

• Click or tap to move around the world and talk to characters.
• In a battle, choose an action card to attack or power up.
• Weaken a wild Dynamon, then try to catch it.
• Spend shards to level up your Dynamons and unlock new action cards, and open the backpack for items.

Tips for Dynamons 8

• Catch creatures only once they are weakened, and save your strongest attack cards for finishing a fight rather than opening with them.
• Use items from the backpack during hard battles instead of hoarding them.
• Level up the creatures you actually use; shards spread across a large team make every member weak.
• Rotate through your team to learn which creatures and cards work best against each opponent.
• Explore the new Chinese Festival area and the bonus cave to meet creatures you will not find elsewhere.
